OffPay Technologies Ltd is a financial technology company that provides its Services in collaboration with licensed payment service providers, financial institutions and other infrastructure partners. Where regulated financial services are required, including payment processing, virtual account services and the custody or settlement of funds, such services are provided through the applicable licensed partners. OffPay itself does not represent that it holds a banking or payment-services licence unless expressly stated otherwise.
OffPay maintains customer identification and due-diligence procedures designed to prevent fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing and other financial crime. Users may be required to complete identity verification, including the provision of their BVN, government-issued identification and other information required for customer due diligence. An account may remain restricted until the required verification has been completed and approved. OffPay may apply transaction limits based on verification status and risk assessment, monitor transactions for suspicious activity, and request additional information or delay, restrict or decline a transaction where reasonably necessary for security, compliance or applicable legal or regulatory requirements.
If a transaction fails, is delayed, appears incorrect, or you believe there has been an unauthorised transaction or other issue with your account, please contact OffPay through the in-app Support or Complaints channel and provide the relevant transaction reference and supporting information. OffPay will investigate and respond in accordance with its applicable complaints-handling procedures.
Applicable fees and charges for transfers, bill payments, card-related services and other OffPay Services are disclosed through the relevant transaction interface before you confirm a transaction, where applicable. The applicable charge will also be reflected in the relevant transaction record, receipt or statement. OffPay does not intentionally impose undisclosed charges.
OffPay Technologies Ltd is a company incorporated and registered in Nigeria. Corporate registration information and other applicable company details may be provided through our official support or legal channels.
OffPay is committed to protecting the personal information entrusted to us by our users. Personal data is processed for purposes including account registration, identity verification, transaction processing, fraud prevention, security, customer support and regulatory compliance, in accordance with applicable Nigerian data-protection laws and our Privacy Policy. OffPay processes personal data in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and applicable guidance issued by the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC)
